Craving cookie with your afternoon cup of tea and there aren't any in the house? Absolutely gutted. However, this sugar cookie in a mug is cakey-cookie goodness which satisfies all of those cravings. The best part? You'll have all the ingredients already sat in your cupboards.

You will need:

Two tablespoons of sugar

1/4 teaspoon of vanilla

One pinch of salt

One egg yolk

Three tablespoons of flour

Sprinkles and white chocolate chips

Gookie Dough for topping (optional)

Spray a microwave-safe mug with oil spray and place the butter in the mug and melt in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Add your sugar, vanilla and salt and stir together then add the egg yolk and mix thoroughly. Add your flour and stir, top with sprinkles and add white chocolate chips, give another quick stir and pop in the microwave for about 40-45 seconds. Check for doneness with a toothpick and sprinkle pieces of Gookie Dough on top for ultimate perfection. (Recipe credit to No.2 Pencil)

If needed, make substitutions to suit your dietary preferences, for example, using sweeteners and butter for coconut oil! Quick, easy and perfect if you need a sweet treat at 10 pm but you're all snuggled on the sofa in your PJ's. Could even complete it with a glass of bubbly.
