Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Cones
0 comments / Posted on by SugarcoatHope Collaborator
Happy Bank Holiday, cookie lovers! What better way to celebrate the long weekend than to eat ice cream, Gookie Dough and make your own Oreo cones! This one will not disappoint. Vegetarian, kid-friendly, perfect for your BBQ or a quiet night in and with all the ingredients that are already in your cupboard, you don't need to rush out to the shop!
(Image credit: Donuts Cookies And Cream)
Ingredients (Makes three cones)
10 chocolate cookies (preferably Oreos)
Two egg whites
100g sugar
One teaspoon of vanilla extract
Two tablespoons of butter, melted
Salt to taste
60g flour sifted
60ml of milk
Gookie Dough to pop into the cone
Instructions

Place your cookies in a resealable bag and crush with a wooden spoon until they form into crumbs. Then set aside. Separate your egg whites into a bowl and add the sugar, vanilla, melted butter and salt. Mix until combined. Sift the flour and add it to the bowl along with cookie crumbs and milk. If the mixture is too thick then feel free to add more milk. Then mix until well combined.
Heat a non-stick skillet over a medium heat and pour 60ml of batter. Swirl around the pan until coated. Cook until the surface begins to bubble and then flip. Cook for another couple of minutes before transferring to a baking tray. Quickly roll into a cone shape and hold until they set (should take about a minute). Cool and top with ice cream and Gookie Dough!
Someone get the ice cream! Our mouths are drooling. Have a wonderful, chilled day. (Recipe credit to Tasty.co)
