So, you've just made a batch of Gookie Dough cookies, popped them in the oven for 10-12 minutes and they're sat cooling on the tray. Chocolate chips oozing out of them and the smell of freshly baked cookies lingering around the house. The red velvet is brighter than ever and the funfetti cookie is screaming fun. There's just something missing. FROSTING! Take your Gookie Dough to the next level with this super sweet cookie dough frosting. It really is the icing on the cake with a cherry on top!

You will need:

115g of butter

150g of brown sugar 

125g of icing sugar

125g of flour

Two teaspoons of vanilla 

Half a teaspoon of salt

Four tablespoons of milk (for desired consistency)

125g of mini chocolate chips (THE MORE THE BETTER)

Firstly, cream the brown sugar, icing sugar and softened butter on low in a mixer. Next, add the flour and vanilla and pop the mixer on medium speed. Ensure that it is beginning to look creamy and well incorporated. Then add in the milk until your frosting is at the desired consistency. Do this bit by bit to ensure that it doesn't go too runny. Add your mini chocolate chips and give it a good stir.

Voila! Easy peasy. Eggless and tastes just like a cookie and even better on your baked Gookie Dough. I can see that funfetti cookie on the tray loving life while it's slathered in a generous amount of scrumminess. Seal in an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to a week.
