The 4th of July is tomorrow and we thought that we'd help the Americans celebrate in style with a simple classic of s'mores which are related to the flag. Not only are these crazy delicious, our flag colours are the same so could also be used for an occasion in the UK!

You will need:

Cooking spray

A bag of marshmallows (preferably the big ones like Haribo)

Red food colouring

Blue food colouring

16 rich tea biscuits

Two large bars of Cadbury's

Instructions

Firstly, preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celcius and grease a small baking pan with your cooking spray. In a medium bowl, melt the marshmallows completely and then quickly divide into three bowls.

Now, dye one bowl blue and the other bowl red. Leave the third bowl white. Now you'll have your flag colours. Pour your red marshmallow mix into the prepared pan and then the blue and finally, the wite. Spray a knife with cooking spray to prevent it from sticking and run through the marshmallow layers to create a marble effect. Then allow cooling slightly.

While this is happening, place half of your biscuits onto a small baking tray and top with your chocolate squares. Bake until the chocolate is just starting to melt which should take just under five minutes. Cut the marshmallows into squares and place on top of the chocolate and then sandwich another biscuit on top. Serve immediately for super deliciousness.

A true classic. If you're lucky enough to have Graham Crackers then we may be a tad jealous. Maybe a revolutionary Gookie Dough flavour would be just that. Let us know if you have any other new flavour ideas in the comments. And Happy 4th of July 'Merica! *Recipe credit with thanks to Delish.com*
