Monday's come around way too fast. If you're stuck in the office with a fan in your face, trying to fight the humidity and you're getting lunch-time boredom then we have just the treat for you. Ditch the tedious ham sarnie and replace it with a sweet treat. That's right, cookie dough bread. Life is officially complete.

You will need:

2-5 oz of vanilla Greek yoghurt

One tablespoon of vanilla extract

190g of self-raising flour

230g of sour cream

170g of sugar

350g of mini chocolate chips (leaving a third for the topping)

(For the glaze)

125g of icing sugar

One tablespoon of vanilla extract

Splashes of milk until the desired consistency is reached

Gookie Dough to decorate

Instructions

Spay a loaf tray to grease and set aside. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celcius. In a medium bowl, combine your flour, sugar, sour cream, yoghurt and vanilla extract along with the chocolate chips. Ensure that you then mix well.

Once thoroughly combined pour into your prepared pan. Place it on a baking tray to stop spills and bake for approximately 45 minutes to an hour.

While your bread is baking, mix all of your glaze ingredients together gently until you have a consistency that you are happy with. Ensure that it is still pourable. If it is too thick then add more milk. If too runny add more icing sugar.

The bread is cooked when it looks golden and starts to pull away from the sides of the tin. Let it cool completely.

Flip the bread onto some parchment paper and pour the glaze over. Top with chocolate chips and sprinkle with a Gookie Dough flavour of your choice.

Forget the basic sandwich, a cookie dough loaf is just what the doctor ordered on a rainy Monday! *Recipe credit to ohbiteit.com*
