  • Monster Cookie Dough Popcorn

0 comments / Posted on Feb 15, 2018 by SugarcoatHope Collaborator

Thursday is the new Friday, so it's time to snuggle up on the sofa and have some me time. The deadlines can wait, Netflix is calling, for this is how to make monster cookie dough popcorn. Chocolate? Tick! Biscoff? Tick! And of course, extra yumminess. And you thought that it couldn't get any better? You were wrong. Not only is this the most straightforward recipe with only two steps, but it's also quick and easy. Win-win. Remember you can switch this recipe up and make it to your own taste, throw in your favourite sweets and get a little creative.

    You will need:

Seven cups of your fav popcorn
    One cup M&M’s
One cup cookie dough balls (we advise Gookie Dough!)
    One cup miniature marshmallows
Half a cup miniature chocolate chips
1 1/4 cups white chocolate chips
    One teaspoon shortening
    1/3 cup Biscoff cookie spread
    1/2 cup quick oats

    Step one

In a microwave-safe bowl, pop in the white chocolate chips and shortening. Heat this for 30 seconds and stir occasionally. Continue heating for half a minute at a time until fully melted. Next, add the Biscoff spread and combine until creamy. Stir in the oats and let it cool for 3-4 minutes.

    Step two

In a separate bowl, combine the popcorn and marshmallows. Pour the melted chocolate on top and toss until it is all coated evenly. Grab your Gookie Dough and roll small pieces in between your palms to create little balls. Add these to the mix along with your M&M's and chocolate chips. Keep tossing to ensure it combines fully. Pour the popcorn onto a tray which is lined with parchment paper. Place in the fridge for 5 minutes then remove and break into pieces.
