Gookie Dough Q&A
Questions that need answers? No more! We've decided to put together a short Q&A so you can find out more about our product and why you should choose us. Let's go!
What is the difference between regular cookie dough and Gookie Dough?
This question is a big one and gets asked a lot.
Regular cookie dough contains eggs and un-treated flour. In comparison, we have curated a special secret recipe for Gookie Dough that is unlike any traditional recipe including a super secret mystery ingredient that gives it that unique Gookie Dough flavour. There are no eggs in our products nor any raising agents (pretty amazing when you consider how well our dough bakes). In addition, we use a special heat treated flour that is safe to eat raw. This is not something you are able to purchase in stores. In addition, we use only the highest quality gourmet ingredients that we have sourced across the world to give Gookie Dough that luxury taste, smell and texture.Do I need to keep my Gookie Dough refrigerated and how long will it last for?
YES! You should pop it in the fridge or freezer as soon as you receive it. Our packaging will keep it at a safe temperature for up to 72 hours. If you do not plan on eating your Gookie Dough within a week we would advise freezing it to keep it as fresh as possible - you can pop it in the fridge for 24 hours to defrost, and it will taste as if it was never frozen. For ultimate indulgence when consuming, you can leave it out for a couple of hours to come to room temperature. Any dough that is not consumed once brought to room temperature should be disposed of and not put back in the fridge/freezer. Your Gookie Dough will last for up to 4 weeks from the date it was produced when stored in the fridge. Alternatively, you can freeze for up to 12 months but would recommend consuming it within a week because who can wait that long nom nom nom?
