How To Bake Your Gookie Dough

In many recipes that we post, it involves Gookie Dough being baked. In order to get it top notch and perfect every time we've put together a step by step so you can enjoy baked cookies without the hassle of mixing all the ingredients.

Step #1

Firstly, take your Gookie Dough out of the fridge and leave it on the side so it softens at room temperature. This allows it to warm up a little and it's a lot easier to work with.

Step #2

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius and line a baking tray with parchment paper (we used tin foil). This means the cookies won't stick and will be easier to transfer.

Step #3

Take your Gookie Dough out of the tub and roll out either with the palm of your hand or with a rolling pin. Grab a cookie cutter and press down to make the shape. Pop on the tray and repeat with the rest of the dough (or however many cookies you want to make). Remember to space evenly on the tray so they have room to spread while baking.

Step #4

Pop in the oven for 8-10 minutes, keeping a close eye on them. If you still want the dough slightly gooey then we advise less time but if you want a cookie with a crunch then leave it longer! Once removed in the oven, allow to cool on the tray or dig right in if you want super warm melty cookies. Pour a glass of milk and get dunking. Perfection right there.

Step #5 (optional)

If you're feeling extra decorative then feel free to allow the cookies to cool and then begin icing. Either with buttercream (icing sugar and butter) or normal icing (icing sugar and water). Top with extra sprinkles, write your own name or simply demolish in one sitting. The world is your oyster.
