How To Make Your Own Gummy Bears

There's nothing better than revisiting your childhood and letting yourself go a little. Whether that's playing with lego or pretending you're a secret agent. Remember snacking on Haribos and having your favourite flavour of gummy bear? Well, guess what, today we're making our own! 

Birthday Cake Gummy Bears

Inspired but Funfetti Cake Batter Gookie Dough, these birthday cake gummies are super adorable and rainbow magical. All you need is 235ml of water, one teaspoon of vanilla, three tablespoons of sugar, rainbow sprinkles and three packets of gelatin. Then two 50 bear gummy moulds with a dropper! 

Simply sprinkle your rainbow sprinkles inside the empty bolds. Mix the water, sugar and vanilla together. pour half of the mixture into a small saucepan and heat until simmering. Mix the gelatin into the remaining half of the mixture and add the simmering liquid to the gelatin mixture, stirring until it has dissolved. Fill the moulds with the liquid using your dropper and pop into the fridge until set. Then remove from the moulds. 

Margarita Gummy Bears

So, we're now levelling up and half adulting. You will need 60ml of tequila, 60ml of lime juice, a pinch of salt, two tablespoons of sugar and three packs of gelatin along with your two 50 bear gummy moulds/dropper. 

Mix the tequila, lime juice, sugar and salt and pour half the mixture into a small saucepan and heat until simmering. Mix the gelatin into the remaining half of the mixture. Add simmering liquid to the gelatin mixture and stir until the gelatin is dissolved. Fill the moulds with the liquid using the dropper and pop in the fridge to set. 

Latte Gummy Bears

Perfect if you don't have time to make a coffee first thing in the morning so you can chomp on these first thing in the morning. Sweets for breakfast? Love it! You will need 125ml of strong coffee, 4 tablespoons of coconut milk, 2 tablespoons of sugar and three packs of gelatin with your moulds and dropper. 

Mix your coffee, sugar and milk together and pour half of the mixture into a saucepan and heat until simmering. Mix gelatin into the remaining half of the mixture and add simmering liquid to the gelatin mixture, stirring until it has dissolved. Fill the gummy moulds and pop in the fridge to set.
