Insta-Worthy Baked Goods That Are Possible To Make

You what? Super viral trends that are simple to make? Sold! We all know the struggle when it comes to watching a 'how to' video, thinking it'll be super-duper easy peasy and then your end result looks like a squashed potato, yet their's looks like a sparkly angel. The pain. Today, I am bringing you Instagram worthy sweet treats that are possible to make and shall make you feel extra festive (only 13 more days).

Ombré Cookies

They almost look like little green and red sponges, but the secret to achieving this pattern is to divide the cake batter into six mini bowls and adding food colouring in different hues. It may be time-consuming, but definitely worth it! Just look how cute they are. Guess who's gonna be the winner of the Christmas buffet? You are!

Cranberry Curd Tart

A curd with lemons, of course, the tart being thin, sweet, crunchy and smooth. The bright red filling screams Christmas and festivity which is why we love this cranberry tart! The colouring is completely natural by using frozen cranberries, and you can even cheat and buy a store-bought pastry crust. No one will have to know; it's our secret! Perfect with a dollop of whipped cream.

Apple Rose Tart

How gorgeous. It's almost too perfect to eat! This tart is filled with a maple custard which is topped with elegant apple roses. Looks difficult? All you do is microwave the apple slices for a short period of time to soften them, and they are easier to work with. Even better, it's gluten-free!

Lemon Meringue Fridge Cake

Tangy, appealing and minimal effort. Perfect for the non-chocolate lovers and most of the ingredients are ready made. No standing around in the kitchen for hours, so you have more time to spend with the family! Very rich yet very easy.

Stained Glass Biscuits

The kids will love this one, and you can go all traditional and hang these up with a ribbon on the tree. The stained glass effect works by using boiled sweets which melt into the biscuit while baking. Sweets and cookies? The bigger the sugar rush, the better! Anyone up for a candy flavoured Gookie Dough treat!

Chocolate Peppermint Cake

A cake with a smooth silky glaze and garnished with crushed peppermint candy canes. Perfect with vanilla ice cream.
